Working Together for Healthier Communities
We lead and support a range of strategic initiatives focused on preventing youth substance use, strengthening mental health awareness, and fostering safer, more resilient communities. Through federally funded programs and strong local partnerships, our work spans education, policy, and outreach across multiple towns.
SAMHSA Strategic Prevention Framework – Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS)
Goal: Prevent the onset and reduce the progression of substance abuse, while strengthening community prevention capacity and infrastructure.
Projects Include:

Co-planning and delivering community trainings on nasal Narcan use

Distributing educational materials at community events, radio, and local media

Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Drug-Free Communities Project (DFC)
Goal: Support community-based coalitions to prevent youth substance use.

SAMHSA Sober Truth on Preventing (STOP) Underage Drinking Act
Goal: Prevent and reduce alcohol use among youth and young adults aged 12–20.
Projects Include:

Promoting the “Talk. They Hear You.” campaign
