Ware Peer Recovery Center Planning Meeting

The November meeting will be led by the Western MA Training Consortium and will include support from Linda Sarage. A short bio for Linda says, “Ms. Sarage has been in recovery for over 30 years and is a passionate advocate for the peer recovery movement. She has coordinated peer recovery support state-wide with MA DPH Bureau of Substance Addiction Services and is a lead trainer for the Recovery Coach Academy. Additionally, she supported the development and is a lead trainer for the Supervisors of Recovery Coach learning cycle. Linda is the former director of the RECOVER Project, a peer recovery support center in Greenfield, MA. Under her direction the RECOVER Project achieved local, state and national attention for its peer-participatory, trauma –informed approach to recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. She has provided technical assistance to recovery community organizations nationally.” We are very excited to have Linda facilitate building peer awareness across communities in the Ware region, peer events and the peer advisory committee growth.
